After 2008, and the gigantic financial mortgage collapse, galleries were closing and art as an industry was on the decline. Mishou decided to open up her home as a gallery for the artists of Tampa to have an opportunity to show and shine. This place became known as “The Modern Bohemian.” There were shows about every month, where the house was always filled with artists, chefs and musicians of all kinds. After 2 years, it grew to a installation at the Winthrop Town Center in Brandon, FL, made from recycled shipping containers.
